Steve Wells, Co-Founder Of American Food and Vending Corp., Vies For Congressional Seat

Steve Wells, co-founder of Syracuse, NY-based American Food and Vending Corp. (AFV), is among three Republicans on the ballot in the June 28 primary for the 22nd Congressional District seat, according to Syracuse.com, and answered reader questions in a live online Q&A session with the source less than one week before the state primary date.

Wells will face state Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney and history teacher George Phillips.

The winner of the primary will face Democrat Kim Myers in the November election for the congressional seat vacated by U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna, R-Barneveld, who is retiring.

Wells and his brother Martin are founding partners in AFV which now has more than 1,500 employees.
