Police Arrest Lafayette Man Accused Of Trying To Break Into Vending Machine

A Lafayette man who is accused of trying to break into a high school coin-operated vending machine has been arrested, according to The Advocate.  Authorities found Michael Taylor, 55, in the commons area of Acadiana High School dressed in all black attempting to break into the machines. Taylor was booked on count of criminal damage to coin-operated devices; simple criminal damage to property and illegal carrying of a weapon.
