Feb. 16, 2016

The Student Government Association House and Senate at Central Michigan University located in Mt. Pleasant, MI, unanimously passed the Resolution in Support for the Implementation of VendingMisers which calls for the installation of misers to limit energy flow to campus vending machines, according to Central Michigan Life. With the installation of the miser, the university could save up to $138 per vending machine a year, the source notes, by ensuring the machines are on a low power mode when not in use.

There was no mention of how many machines this would affect.
