Kenny Freeman, president of Brokers Unlimited based in Denver, NC announces that Bruce Brecht, founder of Brecht Sales based in West Palm, FL, has agreed to merge his company into Brokers Unlimited effective January 1, 2015. This merger allows Brokers Unlimited to expand their coverage into Florida and offers company resources and support to Bruce Brecht to continue to develop this market. Bruce will operate in Florida under the company name of Brokers Unlimited.
"We are excited to welcome Bruce to our team," said Freeman. "Bruce brings years of expertise to the vend/OCS channel. We will be able to share in his knowledge to grow our business, with emphasis on the OCS side, while helping him continue to develop the vend channel. The move will give Brecht the resources needed to expand his coverage in the Florida market."
Brecht states that the timing for a merger is right and gives him greater access to product lines in his market that otherwise would have been a challenge due to the fact that he was limited geographically to Florida. "I am excited to be a part of the team at Brokers Unlimited," he said. "Having access to their recently expanded marketing department and data capturing capabilities gives me every reason in the world to be optimistic about the future. I could not be happier with our agreement."
Greg Teel, VP of sales and marketing at Brokers Unlimited states the merger completes the Brokers Unlimited footprint in the Southeast and will continue to position us for growth in the future. In addition to coverage in Florida, Brokers Unlimited has sales coverage in NC, SC, GA, TN, AL, MS, and AR.
In addition to being a regional vend/OCS specialist in the Southeast, Brokers Unlimited is a partner in Premier Broker Partners, Inc., a national sales and marketing company.
