U.S. Adds 288K Jobs, Unemployment Rate Drops To 6.1 Percent In June 2014

U.S. unemployment fell in June 2014 while employers added 288,000 that month, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The unemployment rate declined by 0.2 percentage point to 6.1 percent, the lowest level since September 2008.  The number of unemployed persons dropped to 9.5 million. View report.
