Suzanne Russell has joined REVIVE Self Service Cafe, according to an announcement by REVIVE’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Joe Loparco.
“Suzanne brings 30 years of industry knowledge and established customer relationships to REVIVE, so she is obviously a great addition to our team,” said Loparco in a prepared statement. “Throw in the fact that Suzanne is one of my closest friends, someone I admire both professionally and personally…..well, I couldn’t be more excited to go into 2014 with her by my side as we get ready for a terrific year.”
Russell recently retired from a long, distinguished career at Crane Merchandising Systems. The bulk of her career was spent as Crane’s account sales manager for California, Nevada and Oregon. She has vast experience helping operators grow their businesses, from start-ups to the largest independents in the region, as well as the Business Enterprise Program for Blind Operators and other state agencies.
“This industry really gets into your blood,” said Russell. “The passion for it never left me, even as I settled into retirement, so to be able to work with REVIVE in the fast growing micro market channel has really got me pumped up and ready to get back in the game. I’ve watched Joe and (REVIVE Founder) Adam Arthur work hard at developing the product during the course of the past two years, seen the challenges they’ve encountered and overcome, the support staff they’ve added. REVIVE is poised to take its place as one of the industry’s most important micro market providers, and I’m looking forward to contributing to its success.”
In addition to covering the western states markets, Russell, who divides her time between California and North Carolina, will also work with operators in the southeast as well.
