AdvancePierre Receives National Premier Healthcare Alliance Performance Award
AdvancePierre Foods recently announced that it is a winner of the eighth annual performance award, presented by the Premier Healthcare Alliance.
Premier, a provider-owned performance improvement alliance of 2,800 hospitals and nearly 100,000 other care sites, contracts with more than 1,000 suppliers. AdvancePierre Foods is one of 29 suppliers to receive the performance award this year. Winners are recognized for their outstanding management of Premier agreements and drive toward the mutual goal of providing clinical and financial value to Premier alliance members.
"This is our third performance award with Premier, and we are proud of this partnership where our food products are being served in hospitals and long-term care facilities across the country," said Jim Loftin, national accounts manager for AdvancePierre Foods, in a prepared statement. "Premier values companies that go the extra mile, and AdvancePierre does that in a number of ways, including providing recipe and menu cards for hospitals and supporting culinary clinics for food service directors focused on healthy cooking."
Loftin accepted the award at Premier's 2013 annual Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas. The award ceremony was held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center June 12.
"As providers continue efforts to drive toward value-based care, AdvancePierre Foods has been supporting Premier alliance members with high-quality, cost-effective products and services," said Durral R. Gilbert, president of supply chain services, Premier. "We're proud to recognize them as a top performing organization."
