NAMA announces 2022 Fly-In & Advocacy Summit, featuring guest speaker A.B. Stoddard
The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) announced it will hold its annual Fly-In & Advocacy Summit July 18-19 in Washington, D.C.
The event will feature special guest speaker A.B. Stoddard, an associate editor and columnist with the political news site and polling data aggregator RealClearPolitics, and a contributor and guest host for SiriusXM’s POTUS channel.
“The convenience services industry uniquely has the ability to help drive a return to congregative spaces in downtowns and office parks across America – and lawmakers have it within their power to help them do so more efficiently and more expeditiously,” said Mike Goscinski, NAMA senior director of external affairs. “The 2022 Fly-In & Advocacy Summit is a great opportunity for the industry to meet directly with lawmakers and share how it can help make that happen and get Americans back to it.”
Last fall, the 2021 NAMA Fly-In & Advocacy Summit led directly to the introduction of bills to reinstate the Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) for the fourth quarter of 2021. This NAMA ERTC advocacy effort inspired dozens of associations and charitable nonprofits representing a range of small businesses to join a NAMA-led coalition working to pass the legislation.
NAMA will announce the full slate of issues it expects to address at the 2022 Fly-In & Advocacy Summit in the upcoming weeks.
