The National Automatic Merchandising Association's (NAMA) Women in the Industry (WIN) group has partnered with the Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) to offer additional educational opportunities to members. Through this partnership, which builds on each group's mission to promote women in business, the WFF"s Leadership Development Workshops are open to members of WIN.
In an email sent to WIN members, NAMA further explained the opportunity for WIN members:
The WFF's Leadership Development Workshops are a virtual professional development series designed to help aspiring leaders and executives within the food industry expand on core leadership capabilities, have continued engagement and connections with other professional women, and find inspiration and engagement with female executives across the food ecosystem. The series consists of 4 half-day events throughout the months of October and November and provides crucial learning opportunities for leadership development, plus inspiration from industry role models. The workshops can be attended live or watched on-demand, at your convenience. Attend one or all four! I’ve attached more information including a list of sessions and speakers. If you’ve missed a live session, you can still view it on demand.
Registration includes:
- Complimentary one-year WFF membership with access to WFF Connect, a new digital platform exclusively available to WFF members offering virtual content and events, leadership development and networking resources
- Flexibility to attend workshops live or watch on demand
- Each event features a different professional speaker covering a selected core leadership competency and two industry executives sharing their insights and experiences with attendees in a Q&A session
- Professional development content and application from sought after speakers
- Workshop workbook
The next session, Developing a Growth Mindset, takes place on Thursday, October 29, 2020, from 10 AM – 1 PM CST and features Anne Grady, Speaker and Author, Anne Fink, President, Global Foodservice, PepsiCo, and Merary Simeon, WFF Board Member, VP Diversity and Engagement, PepsiCo.
