The NAMA Show in Las Vegas kicks off today, bringing together more than 4500 industry leaders for a show delivering innovative new features, expanded educational programming and valuable business growth opportunities.

General Session

Taking the stage as keynote speaker at this year’s General Session sponsored by Pepsico is futurist and author of The Dictionary of Dangerous Ideas, Mike Walsh. His inspiring presentation will focus on embracing the future as Walsh paints a vivid portrait of a brave new world orchestrated by machines that think. NAMA CEO Carla Balakgie, as well as the annual industry awards, hosted by NAMA Chair Jeff Smith, will take center stage, with a ceremony honoring Industry Person of the Year, Heidi Chico; Allied Member of the Year, Larry Atnip; and Operator of the Year, Peter Fetherston.

The Show Floor

Featuring the world’s most recognized brands, as well as entrepreneurs in the industry, the 2019 NAMA Show has the largest show floor to date, showcasing more than 365 exhibiting companies and 84,000 square feet of exhibit space. The Better for You Pavilion – a record 3,300 square feet – sold out in record time and includes companies offering healthier snacks and beverages, aligned with consumers’ evolving preferences.

Education

The 2019 NAMA Show presents a comprehensive educational line-up with five highly customized tracks of education – Business Operations; Consumer and Industry Trends; Public Health and Nutrition; Sales/Business Development; and Technology -- offered for more than 1,800 participants. A customized program for alumni of NAMA’s Executive Forum, as well as a round table specially designed for small operators, are also featured this year.
