As part of the upcoming National Vending Day – March 7 -- NAMA launched a Tool Kit specially designed to support member company activities.
“The National Vending Day Tool Kit – including graphics, FAQ’s, marketing ideas and more – provides turn-key resources for NAMA members to get started on building awareness in their markets. Moving ahead, more value-added content, including best practices, as well as additional graphic support, will be shared broadly,” said Roni Moore, NAMA’s Vice President of PR.
The first of its kind, National Vending Day will recognize the people who proudly make, sell, enjoy and love vending and the products the channel delivers. From multinational brands beloved around the world to multi-generational business owners, route drivers and plant floor employees, vending touches people’s lives in ways large and small.
To mark this day, NAMA will showcase the industry – which includes vending – and its total economic impact of nearly $25 billion. The U.S. Convenience Services industry is represented in every community across the United States through traditional vending and micro markets — unattended retail — as well as office coffee and pantry services. The industry, providing 140,000 good paying jobs with $7.21 billion in wages, pays $3.5 billion taxes at every level of government. From manufacturing to small-drop distribution, the industry meets the needs of consumers everywhere they are.
Founded in 1936, NAMA is the association representing the $25 billion U.S. convenience services industry. With more than 1,000-member companies – including many of the world’s most recognized brands – NAMA provides advocacy, education and research for its membership.
