NAMA announced it will host a fourth Micro Market Operations Seminar at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nev. The new Thursday to Friday format will be held Jan. 23 to 24, 2014. NAMA has already conducted micro market seminars in Illinois, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
“Operators, suppliers and micro market manufacturers found the first three seminars to be an excellent value,” NAMA’s Director of Education/Certification Joann DeNardis said in a prepared statement. “It was important to make sure our members in the West have the same opportunity.”
Canteen’s Robert Powell, who attended the Philadelphia, Pa. seminar, also called the seminar a great value. “I was able to gain insight and experience from the best minds in the industry,” Powell said. “This seminar would be worth twice the cost.”
The program features industry presenters who deliver on all areas of micro market operations. The leading four micro market equipment manufacturers, 365 Retail Markets, Avanti Markets, Breakroom Provisions and Microtronic U.S., are sponsors and participants in the seminar, and will share the features and benefits of their systems. Networking opportunities provide one on one discussion with micro market and product suppliers.
Operators are able to register for $299, which includes daily breakfast and lunches, as well as a networking event featuring appetizers. Operators who send more than one employee will receive a discounted rate. The hotel rate for Mandalay Bay is $93 or $118, plus a $25 per night resort fee at both locations.
