NYSAVA 2013 Fundraiser Praised As Most Successful Yet

Sept. 24, 2013

The New York State Automatic Vending Association (NYSAVA) held its annual fundraiser at the Westchester Hills Golf Club in White Plains, N.Y. on Sept. 18, 2013. Brian Gill from Next Generation Vending and the president of NYSAVA welcomed everyone and reported that the event was the most successful in the history of the association in terms of attendance, participation in the third annual Herb Luckier Memorial golf outing and financial support from the NYSAVA members, manufacturers and suppliers associated with the industry. Randy Smith, president of LightSpeed Automation LLC and member of the NAMA board of directors, spoke on behalf of NAMA’s activities and asked everyone to participate in the “Industry Day in Washington.”

Additionally, a report from NYSAVA’s lobby group urged all the members and their employees to contact their State Assemblypersons, State Senators and Governor Andrew Cuomo to support the legislation to reform for the vending sales taxes in New York State.
