National Automatic Merchandising Association Announces Plans For CoffeeTea&Water Event In New Orleans, La., Nov. 13 To 15, 2012
The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) is moving to New Orleans this fall for its fifth coffee, tea and water service event, CoffeeTea&Water (CT&W), announced Roger Stewart NCE5, CCS, NAMA director of coffee and water service. CT&W is the single largest education and networking event for coffee, tea and water service operators nationwide, and will be held at the New Orleans Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, La., Nov. 13 to 15, 2012.
When asked about the show Stewart said in a prepared statement, “Last year’s event was such a success with packed education sessions and record attendance that many have asked us how we are going to top the event this year, and hosting the event in New Orleans is a good first step. New Orleans is rich in coffee history, is the second largest port of entry for green coffee and boasts some of the finest restaurants in the country. It’s the perfect spot to learn how to build your business and it’s a venue perfectly suited for casual business entertainment.”
CT&W 2012 will feature more than 100-tabletop suppliers, network receptions, 15 interactive and dynamic education sessions, keynote speakers, and for the first time at CT&W, both Quality Coffee Certificate Program (QCCP) workshops, Coffee Fundamentals and Brewing Fundamentals, will be offered. Since the organization launched the first coffee event in 2008 attendance has increased each year, and the 2011 event was bigger than ever with a record 89 suppliers participating in the Tabletop Networking Event, sharing their newest innovative equipment, software technology and products.
Stewart added that the hotel has recently been renovated and is very accessible. “The hotel has just completed a five-year renovation project that was necessary after Hurricane Katrina destroyed or damaged much of the hotel. The location is very convenient too –
a street car line runs right in front so it’s easy to enjoy the French Quarter and all the nightlife the city has to offer.”
“Each year this event gets bigger and better and this year will be no exception. Your friends, colleagues and the competition will all be there, so make your plans to attend, be a part of the experience and see firsthand the opportunities for growth and profitability in our industry,” concluded Stewart.
