Accent Food Services Adds New Members To Executive Team

Accent Food Services, a vending, micro market and office coffee service provider in Austin, TX, recently announced several additions to its executive team. Shauntel Deshautelles has been named Senior Vice President of Human Resources; Julie Ausherman is Vice President of Finance; and Richard (Rich) Gottbrath becomes Director of Strategic Development & Planning.

Shauntel Deshautelles as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, reports to Josh Rosenberg, CEO.  In this role Ms. Deshautelles leads the strategic development and implementation of Accent Food Services’ employee recruitment, retention, and development.  In addition, she will lead the vision for creating the company’s workplace 2020 vision focused on developing a best in class workplace culture. Ms. Deshautelles has a background of progression positions with more than a decade of experience in recruiting and human resource management across foodservice, automotive, construction, and oil and gas industries. In her most recent role prior to joining Accent Food Services, Ms. Deshautelles transformed the hiring strategy of one of the top regional brands in the country, Community Coffee Company.  Previously Ms. Deshautelles held various leadership roles with top performing companies where she provided strategic direction for the overall strategy, implementation, communication, and administration of best in class recruiting efforts.  Ms. Deshautelles earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Organizational Studies from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Julie Ausherman has served as Vice President of Finance since January 2017, reporting to Tim Newman, CFO. In this role, Ms. Ausherman oversees all accounting and financial reporting functions, along with treasury management. In addition, she will be a key member of the mergers and acquisitions team, helping to define financial structure and integrate acquired entities.  Ms. Ausherman previously served as the Director of Finance at Amplify Snack Brands, a consumer packaged goods company, beginning January 2015 where she was instrumental in the August 2015 Initial Public Offering.  From 2009-2014, she served as Director of Finance for the Consumer and Small Business segment at Dell.  Prior to Dell, from 2000-2009,  Ms. Ausherman worked at Ford Motor Company in various Finance leadership roles. She began her career at Deloitte where she earned her CPA license.  Ms. Ausherman holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Magna cum Laude from Ball State University.

Richard (Rich) Gottbrath joins Accent Food Services as Director of Strategic Development & Planning, reporting to Josh Rosenberg, CEO.  In this role, Rich will lead the development and measurement of Accent’s strategic plan, support our merger & acquisition efforts, and the evaluation of new product/channel initiatives.  Prior to joining Accent, Rich was an Associate at Lincoln International, a Chicago-based middle market investment banking advisory firm.  At Lincoln, Rich was a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions team where he worked on over 30 acquisitions for both sell-side and buy-side clients in a variety of industries, including the sale of Accent to Audax Group in 2016.  Most recently, he was a founding member of Lincoln’s Dallas office, but had previously spent time working across the firm’s offices in Chicago, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.  Prior to joining Lincoln, Rich held roles in Corporate Development and Supply Chain Management at Brown-Forman Corporation, a Louisville, Kentucky-based beverage alcohol manufacturer.  Rich graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a B.S. in Finance and remains an active alumnus as a member of the Investment Banking Network Advisory Council, a faculty and alumni selected board that provides governance and direction to the investment banking programs at the Kelley School.
