ITO EN, makers of bottled green tea TEAS' TEA®, will mark its sixth year as a Supplier Alliance Partner of Whole Planet Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by Whole Foods Market to alleviate poverty through microcredit financing in developing countries.
Committed to supporting the mission of the Whole Planet Foundation, ITO EN is one of the original founding Supplier Alliance Partners of the foundation, launched in 2005. Formed by the entrepreneurial spirit of Whole Foods Market with Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus and Grameen Bank, the founding partners have pledged more $1.45 million dollars to the microentrepeneurs. This year's kick-off will begin Feb. 21 through March 2013.
