The Arkansas Vending Council (AVC) is planning to hold its 2013 legislative day/annual membership meeting and convention Feb. 20 to 21, 2013, at the Wyndham Riverfront Little Rock in North Little Rock, Ark.
Highlights include a presentation by Sheree Edwards, the National Automatic Merchandising Association's regional legislative director on how to carry on an effective conversation with your legislators on Wednesday, Feb. 20.
An AVC Hospitality Suite - Hosted by Bruce Hawkins and Camie Boggess of DBH Management, AVC’s Lobbyist firm, is scheduled for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
On Thursday a caravan is scheduled to take attendees to the Capitol for the AVC's legislative day. Following the trip to the Capitol, DBH Management will inform attendees of current legislative issues facing the industry in Arkansas and Sheree Edwards will present an update on the legislative pulse in Washington, D.C. Finally, Tom Britten of Britten Management Services, LLC, will discuss the applications of various contracts to the vending, coffee and foodservice industries.
