New Zealand Study Shows Food Taxes Change Consumption Habits

Recent research from New Zealand analyzing 32 studies reports a slight decline in consumption, 0.02 percent, of fatty foods when they carry a 1 percent price increase, according to HealthDay News. Soda drinks were a bit higher with consumption decreasing from 1 to 24 percent with a 10 percent price increase. Full article.
