Boreal Water Collection announced its gross sales rose by 19 percent in the second quarter. Gross margin rose to 21.5 percent which was an increase of 4 percent compared to last year. The net operating loss decreased by 27.6 percent compared to last year. Francine Lavoie, the re-appointed CEO and president, said in a prepared statement: "People start to recognize what we are all about: high end private labeling bottled water.
"We also decided to expand the distribution of our famous New York brand 'Leisure Time Spring Water' to the Brooklyn and New York market. This brand has been around a long time and it is well known in the kosher market."
