Whole-grain nutrition, a just-baked texture and plant-based protein combine for a “killer taste” in the new Amped-Up Organic Protein Bars from Dave’s Killer Breads.
The company developed the bars in response to a proprietary study by Talker Research showing that 71% of Americans admit to procrastination and 55% to putting off tasks if they are hungry. Dave's Killer Bread sought to develop a snack that satisfies hunger and supports focus and productivity.
The Amped-Up Organic Protein Bars are all baked with ingredients such as rolled oats, chia seeds and quinoa. Three flavors are offered:
- The Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk flavor incorporates organic peanut butter, chocolate chunks and sunflower kernels. They provide 10g of protein, 4g of fiber and 7g of whole grains.
- The Double Chocolate Coconut flavor is made with two types of organic chocolate, coconut and dry-roasted almonds. Each bar provides 10g of protein, 5g of fiber and 6g of whole grains.
- The Blueberry Almond Butter flavor is packed with organic blueberries, almond butter and sunflower kernels. Each bar provides 10g of protein, 4g of fiber and 8g of whole grains.
"Packed with plant-based organic hemp, pea, and rice proteins, these bars are ideal for those looking for a high-quality snack that doesn't compromise on taste or texture,” said Jillian Cohn, director of brand management for Dave's Killer Bread.
They are available in 4-count packages from national retailers and outlets.
