Starship Technologies' Robots Deliver Food To University Of Wisconsin-Madison Students
San Francisco company Starship Technologies' robots are delivering food to the roughly 600 students still on campus at The University of Wisconsin-Madison, reducing the spread of COVID-19, Wisconsin State Journal reports. Students can request robots bring food to their dormitory building to avoid going to the dining hall, the article stated.
There have been about 70 delivery orders each day on campus, and students pay a delivery fee of $1.99 the university's Director of Dining and Culinary Services Peter Testory said in the article.
