NEENAH, Wis. (April 29, 2019) – On Friday, April 26, Miron Construction Co., Inc. broke ground on a new production facility for OH SNAP!® Pickling Co. in Appleton, Wis.
The OH SNAP!® Pickling Co. brand of refrigerated single serve brine-less pickled vegetables was launched in 2015. The line capitalizes on consumer demand for tasty, healthy, convenient snacks. Since the brand’s inception, it has roughly doubled in sales each year thereby necessitating the construction of a new facility dedicated solely to the production of the OH SNAP!® line. This new 67,000 SF facility will allow GLK Foods to reduce its cost of manufacture by introducing better line flow, increasing storage capacity, and enabling the procurement of more Wisconsin-grown cucumbers.
