The ability to automate planogram generation from shelf photos augments the capabilities of GoSpotCheck's image recognition technology and strengthens its retail execution tools, says the manufacturer.
Earlier this year, the company introduced automated planogram compliance, a feature that enabled mobile teams to receive real-time planogram compliance scores and recommendations on mobile. The AI-powered technology, Pic&Plan, automatically generates planogram files from photos.
With the software, teams can generate editable planogram files directly from photos of shelves taken in-store within minutes rather than manually building planogram files. The feature integrates with the company’s task management, photo reporting and business intelligence tools for retail and CPG teams.
