May 1, 2020

Iowa pre-teen Emma Zrostlik decided to open EZZ Vending, a vending machine that she filled with $500 in products to get sales started in downtown Long Grove, reports WQAD-TV.

"I wanted a store in Long Grove because Long Grove doesn't have a lot of things," Zrostlik says in the article. The city has about 800 residents.

Emma bought $500 in snacks and beverages to get sales started for the machine, which her parents bought. "EZZ" is an acronym for the names of her siblings and herself. WQAD-TV reports that the children have made more than $700 since they began sales in March.

Andrea Flores interviews the family in a video with the article.
