Virginia Mall Replaces Storefronts With Vending Machines
March 7, 2017
A struggling mall in Richmond, VA, has replaced its empty storefronts with a variety of vending machines, according to Business Insider. The plan aims to distract Regency Square shoppers from the vacated spaces and keep traffic flowing to its remaining tenants. The mall's owner, a joint venture of Virginia-based Thalhimer Realty Partners and the Rebkee Company, plans to redevelop the mall in April.
