Oklahoma County To Use Industrial Vending Machine

Nov. 22, 2016

The Rogers County Board of County Commissioners in Oklahoma approved a contract with Fastenal to dispense safety equipment and possibly tools to county crews via an industrial vending machine, according to Claremore Daily Progress. Items such as gloves, safety glasses, marking paint and earplugs are among the items that will be dispensed. The industrial vending machine could help control employee and department spending and minimize losses, and crews will have immediate access to work items, the source reports.

Editor's note: Vending machines are being used more and more often for non-food applications. Fastenal has been extremely successful with it's industrial vending machines. Non-food vending is an option operators should consider when brainstorming service expansion ideas
