Vendgogh, LLC announced a long term, strategic partnership with VeriFone intended to promote the sale of Vendgogh’s patented gas island vending solutions to VeriFone’s valued convenience store customers throughout the US. By combining forces, the two companies will enable VeriFone’s convenience store customers to sell cold drinks and gas to customers at the pump with a single swipe of their credit card.
This long term, strategic agreement expands the previously announced integration support for Vendgogh’s gas island vending solution. The two companies will combine their sales and marketing efforts to drive the market development of vending at the gas island for thousands of VeriFone convenience store retailers.
“We share a common vision of a developing market for vending on the gas island” said Dan Yienger, VeriFone’s vice president of petroleum sales in a prepared statement. “We think the time is right for something like this and we want to lead the way in enhancing the customer experience at the pump.” The companies expect the first release of this integrated solution this month. "We are delighted to have VeriFone as a strategic partner in developing this exciting new market,” said Vendgogh’s vice president of business development, Larry McAnallen. “Together we can transform the landscape of convenience store retailing while dramatically enhancing the customer experience at the gas island.”
Research indicates that 70 percent or more of all convenience store customers buy only gas. Furthermore, over 95 percent of customers who pay at the pump do not go into the store.
