OCS coffee parts distributor Betson Imperial promotes John McCann
Betson Imperial Parts & Service, a parts distributor for the office coffee, arcade and gaming markets, promoted John McCann to senior sales engineering manager. In the newly created role, McCann will use his technical expertise to support customers and the sales team.
“John has been a tremendous asset to the company for over 35 years, and this new role allows him to use his extensive knowledge to support our sales team and customers,” said Richard Zayas-Baza, the president of Betson Imperial Parts & Service, in a release. “He will be a vital bridge between the sales and engineering departments, communicating customer feedback to drive product improvements for our new product lines.”
An electrical engineer by training, McCann’s responsibilities will include collaborating with customers and suppliers to understand unique technical requirements and proposing tailored solutions. He will work closely with the sales team, providing pre-sales technical support and help ensure customers’ needs are met.
McCann will remain in his position as Betson Technical University's head professor, where he and his team conduct training, sharing knowledge, experience and best practices.
