J.M. Smucker, JDE Peet's begin liquid coffee partnership aimed at away-from-home markets

J.M. Smucker Co. and JDE Peet's announced a strategic partnership that is devised to allow Peet's to support Smucker’s away-from-home liquid coffee business with product development, production and foodservice equipment innovation.

J.M. Smucker will offer liquid coffee products to its North American customers.

J.M. Smucker chief operating officer John Brase said, "The agreement will allow us to more aggressively pursue liquid coffee innovation opportunities that will enhance current customer solutions and drive category growth. 

JDE Peet's out-of-home global president Satya Menard added, “Our proprietary liquid coffee system efficiently delivers large quantities of premium coffee in a hygienic manner, making it the perfect solution for hospitals, universities, hotels, conference centers and many other out-of-home customers.”
