Bob Tullio to lead Holiday House Show OCS sales training
Reflecting its expanded focus on sales training, particularly related OCS and single-cup brewers, Holiday House Distributing has added sales workshops led by industry consultant Bob Tullio to its annual Technician Training and Equipment Sales Show on September 29 to October 2 in Frisco, Texas. For operators, it’s an opportunity to enhance sales and service.
Tullio is a contributing editor to Automatic Merchandiser and VendingMarketWatch.com, and author of NAMA’s “Selling Convenience Services” course, following a 37-year career in OCS sales. His presentation will focus on takeaways for sales managers, sales representatives and operators involved in sales.
In addition to Tullio’s presentation, each equipment manufacturer and supplier will provide key selling points related to their products as well as ideas on how to increase sales with their equipment, he noted.
Several suppliers have also committed to presenting training sessions, including De Jong Duke, Follet Ice, Cafection, Bravilor Bonamat, Flavia, Lavazza, Bevi, Nespresso, Newco Coffee and Cimbali. In addition, local suppliers — including Holiday House, Everpure, Urnex, Homeland/Omni Pure and John Guest — as well as all equipment manufacturers that are presenting will exhibit at the adjacent trade show. Attendees can benefit from the concentrated setting.
What they are saying
“As always, we listen to the attendees — our customers — who understand that the leading OCS salespeople have product, equipment and sales knowledge. We have added this new sales component to elevate sales professionals,” Barbara Russell, vice president of sales and marketing at Holiday House Distributing. “We are already seeing tremendous interest from operators who are excited about the sales training component.”
Russell noted that the event, which costs only $250, is not a money maker for Holiday House. “The fee is designed to offset the food costs,” she said. “That cost includes hours of hands-on training and meals.”
“This event is great for the industry, the suppliers, the operators, their salespeople and their technicians, who will each receive a certification. It’s also good for the manufacturers and for Holiday House. Everyone who attends becomes a lot more connected,” she added.
How to attend
The event will be held at the Embassy Suites Frisco Convention Center, Frisco, Texas. Registration is $250 per attendee. Click here to learn more or register.
