Lowell Shindler, founder of U.S. Coffee, Inc., in New York, passed away in May. He was 69. Lowell spent over 40 years in the industry, growing U.S. Coffee into one of the largest independent OCS, Vending, Water & Office Supply companies in the nation.
Donations in Shindler’s memory can be made to DKMS Americas, the largest bone marrow donor center in the world. Donations can be made through www.getswabbed.org or FirstGiving- NewYorkMarathon.
Mark Singer, a friend of Shindler, is running the 2012 NYC Marathon in his memory and raising money in his name.
