Lawmaker Proposes Sweetened Beverage Ban For Texas Public Schools, Again

Texas State Rep. Carol Alvarado (D) has proposed a bill that would ban soda, sports drinks and other sweetened beverages at public schools in Texas, according to the Huffington Post. This is the second time she has proposed such a bill. Full article.
