VendSys announces its Android based route management application, married to Zebra’s DX30 mobile Blue Tooth DEX reader. Zebra is the leading international mobile printer provider to the DSD industry and their device is the most “bullet proof” of any alternative, reports Bill Lockett, VendSys Marketing Director. To support a $20,000 per week route with only 40% remotely monitored machines is common among our client base, so this device keeps the process tight, without the traditional DEX cable failure issues.
Bill added, Our Android tablet platforms support built inbar-code scanner, WIFI and GPS tracking. Drivers plug into the DEX receptacle of the non-remote monitored machines to finalize pre-kits and maintain perpetual coin-mech, bill-acceptor and recycler inventories. Service calls can be dispatched and received, plus permission based planogram and PAR adjustments. These are all resident apps, so where there is poor cellular coverage the driver can still complete all services.
