Amazon is reportedly delaying the launch of its automated retail store, Amazon Go due to technical difficulties, according to the Wall Street Journal. The issue is when more than 20 people are in the store at once, reports the WSJ.
Editor's note: While the vending industry has already experimented with some unattended retail spaces using Shelfex and different micro market solutions, being able to offer products to the public in a truly self-service way hasn't been achieved. Amazon Go was to be the first, and has the power to change retail with its brand recognition and large following.
