Vengo Labs announced that its digital vending units will now be part of Vistar Media’s OOH inventory, so relevant video and interactive advertisements will be pushed out in real-time from Vistar’s network to individual vending machines, based on location and demographic preferences of the advertiser. Vistar Media is an ad platform that turns digital out-of-home ads programmatic. Programmatic advertising helps automate the decision-making process of media buying by targeting specific audiences and demographics. Vending operators will be eligible to collect incremental revenue by being part of the Vengo network in an easy, entirely automated process.
This is turning vending machines into viable OOH advertising real estate.
Advertisers/brands will be able to:
- Reach new audiences (i.e., millennials with influence and purchase power at gyms and university) through an entirely new type of OOH billboard – digital vending machine screens
- Programmatically buy this ad space based on location/demographic/etc. data
- Get real-time performance feedback on what locations and ad creative are working
- Catch the attention of consumers OOH through the digital vending screens
