Microsoft Showcases Windows 10 In Diji Touch Vending Machines

Microsoft is showcasing its latest Windows 10 operating system and how it works in retail environments at the National Retail Federation’s ‘Big Show 2016’—this includes featuring Mondelez International’s Diji Touch vending machine, according to Neowin. Mondelez International built the Diji Touch vending machine powered by Windows 10, Kinect and Azure IoT and features a 40-inch touchscreen. The company also created an app on Microsoft’s Universal Windows Platform.

The source reports that 5,000 machines will be deployed across the U.S. over the next several years.
