Utz discontinues its Husman's snack line, a century-old Cincinnati favorite

According to local news media, Utz Quality Foods is ending production of its Husman's snack line, popular with Cincinnatians for more than a century.

Utz acquired the Snyder of Berlin and Husman’s brands from Conagra in 2019. Husman’s snacks have been produced in Berlin, Pa., for more than 15 years, and sold in Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

Harry Husman started his eponymous potato chip company in 1919 in the Cincinnati. Husman saw a need from customers and grocery stores alike for a fresh supply of potato chips.
