Breakroom Provisions, Inc. will introduce two new models of self-checkout kiosks for micro markets to be debuted in booth #107 at the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) OneShow, on April 25 to 27 in Las Vegas.

Breakroom Provisions, Inc. will introduce two new models of self-checkout kiosks for micro markets to be debuted in booth #107 at the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) OneShow, on April 25 to 27 in Las Vegas. The new Metro and Office Market kiosks will complement the popular City Market kiosk.

“It has always been our goal to provide vending operators with ever-evolving, hardware and software development and solutions, to open up new, profitable opportunities,” said Aaron Speagle, BPC’s CEO in a prepared statement. “We realize that micro markets are not a ‘one-size, fits all’ type of product. Our two new solutions, along with our City Market, offer operators more component options, payment methods and kiosk price points, than ever before.” In addition, the already feature-rich kiosk software has been upgraded with robust new features to be debuted in Las Vegas.

BPC’s loyalty/health points system feature lets kiosk customers automatically accrue points or dollars based on purchases. Accrued rewards are redeemable at the kiosk for store purchases or charitable donation. Benefits are automatically tracked in real-time through the system, enabling instant accrual or redemption. Earned point or dollar totals are clearly displayed on the kiosk screen and can be programmed to be sent by email or printed on the customer's receipt after each loyalty-associated transaction. Accrual point amounts can be set by customer, item, or department and changed by authorized personnel to fit certain promotions or date ranges. This feature is a way for employers to automatically incentivize and reward associates for making healthy choices.

“Instead of just tracking an associate’s nutritional intake, our Loyalty /Health Points system makes it easy for an operator to work with an HR department to put together a custom designed, incentive and reward system that automatically functions based on the parameters agreed to,” said Kevin Bailey, vice president of sales.

BPC’s new combo promotional engine is a sophisticated system of tools for up-selling end users by combining specific items together for a special price. While relatively easy to create a combo system based on the combination of departments, BPC chose to develop a stout feature that can create very specific combinations based on individual items.

Debuting at the OneShow, Breakroom Provision’s graphic-based dashboard reporting system will now give operators the information that they need “at a glance.” The customizable dashboard is accessible on any computer or Apple, Android, or Windows’ tablet or smart phone.

Breakroom Provisions, Inc. was created by the original founders of Avanti Markets who have been in the self-checkout business, as it pertains to the vending industry, since 2003. With the highest level of bankcard transaction security, the BPC solution is certified as a Validated Payment Application (PCI PA-DSS). Its core software product, managing 14,000 POS terminals in North America, has been modified for the vending channel. It is backed by over 70 employees, including 19 developers and 14 support personnel, and doesn’t put vending companies business in the hands of a small, I.T. shop. Market operators also “own” their data. That is, no one, including BPC, has access or rights, to an operator’s sales data. Breakroom Provisions doesn’t charge a percentage of sales fees and allows operators to brand and market their systems as they see fit.
