QualiTech has acquired Ellison Bakery, a manufacturer of cookies, snack bars and ingredients for retail, food service and private-label end markets. Though Ellison primarily provides bakery products including mix-ins, frozen novelty components and snack inclusions for established and emerging brands, the company also markets a line of cookies, bars and crackers for retail and food service customers.
Qualitech, a manufacturer of plant nutrition, animal nutrition and food ingredient products and services, said the acquisition positions the company to strategically expand its capabilities with synergistic products and ingredient solutions and drive future growth. MidOcean Partners — a New York-based alternative asset manager specializing in middle-market private equity, structured capital and alternative credit — invested in Qualitech in 2023 with plans to solidify QualiTech’s position as a differentiated ingredients platform.
