Hoping to encourage people to spend more time outside, Clif Bar is kicking off a sweepstakes that will award winners with trips and outdoor gear from REI.
The contest includes instant and grand prize winners. More than 50 premium prizes — including GPS watches, camping tents, and recycled daypacks — will be awarded via the daily instant win game. Instant win players also can win thousands of other prizes such as water bottles, totes and product coupons.
Two sweepstakes grand prize winners will win the chance to embark on a fully guided trip of their choosing in the contiguous United States, provided by REI Adventures. The adventure company offers nearly 150 multi-day small group excursions across the United States, from backpacking in Yosemite to mountain biking the epic Rainbow Rim Trail at the Grand Canyon. All trips are led by professional REI guides, and the grand prize winners can decide which itinerary is best for their interests and abilities.
Consumers can enter the "Take a Trip with Clif" instant win and sweepstakes contest through 11:59 PM ET on October 1. To enter, consumers can visit the Clif website, register and upload either a picture or screenshot of a receipt showing the purchase of a Clif Bar multi-pack or a free image of a receipt provided online. The more receipts entered, the more chances that entrants have to win.
Instant-win prize recipients will be notified within 48 hours. Grand prize winners will be selected in a random drawing once the entry period closes.
