Frank Minnella, CEO of Lock America of Corona, California, announced that Robert Chen has been named as the company’s new national sales manager.
Chen succeeds Dan Walsh, who is retiring.
“We are pleased to acknowledge Robert’s creativity and performance in helping the company negotiate these challenging economic times,” Minnella said in the announcement. “He has spearheaded and supported our efforts to enter new markets and enhance our products for current and new customers.”
Lock America develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of security locks and hardware for many markets, including amusement and vending, ATM, information management, municipal government, petroleum and propane distribution, and self-storage.
Chen graduated from Cal State LA, majoring in marketing with a minor in economics. He has an extensive background in sales management, operations management and market development, originally in the auto accessories industry, and with Lock America for the past five years. He looks forward to continuing to expand product offerings to current and new markets.
“Our goal is develop customers at the manufacturing level. I’m committed to developing products that solve problems for our customers,” Chen added in the announcement.
