Dunkin' Comments on Acquisition Rumors

With multiple outlets reporting that Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc., is in discussions with Inspire Brands regarding a possible acquisition, the company released the following statement:

Dunkin' Brands Group, Inc., (Nasdaq: DNKN), the parent company of two of the world's most recognized brands, Dunkin' and Baskin-Robbins, confirms that it has held preliminary discussions to be acquired by Inspire Brands. There is no certainty that any agreement will be reached. The Company will not comment further unless and until a transaction is agreed or discussions are terminated.

Inspire Brands' portfolio includes restaurants Arby's, SONIC Drive-In, Buffalo Wild Wing and Jimmy John's, totaling more than 11,000 locations worldwide. Roark Capital Group owns Inspire Brands.
