Automation Drives Employees To Seek Further Education In The Workplace

Education Dive reports that the automation of jobs is causing a rising number of employees to pursue further education to stay competitive in their fields. According to a survey of 30,000 workers by Bright Horizons, people are seeking employment with businesses who offer educational benefits such as tuition reimbursement in order to prepare for changes in their roles or industries or seek new career opportunities. Approximately 80 percent of the survey respondents reported that the degrees or skills they earned through their employer made them better employees.
