Houston, Texas, May 30, 2018.- Arca Continental, one of the most important Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, today announced the construction of a new production plant and distribution center in the city of Houston, through of its subsidiary Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages (CCSWB).
A little more than a year after becoming the first Latin American bottler to operate in the Coca-Cola System of the United States, the Monterrey company reported that it will invest USD 250 million to build an installation of almost 100 thousand square meters. This will be the first construction of a Coca-Cola production plant in this country in a decade.

The future plant, planned to start operations at the beginning of 2020, will have state-of-the-art technology, five new production lines, bottles blown online, as well as distribution, warehouse and sales facilities, which will make it possible to efficiently attend the market of the Southeast Texas and will contribute about 30 million dollars, coming from savings in costs and operating efficiencies, to the synergies plan of 90 million dollars.
