Select Walmart Stores Host "High Tech Vending Machine"

A Walmart in Maryland has recently added a Pickup Tower, which the company is calling a "high tech vending machine," according to delmarva now.  Customers select Pickup option at checkout when ordering online, and when the item arrives at the local store, an associate loads it into the Pickup Tower. The customer retrieves their order by scanning a bar code sent to their phone. This new convenience service allow customers to pick up a product that they've ordered online through a more streamlined approach, and so far the Pickup Tower has received positive feedback.
