Police Search For Hotel Vending Thief In North Carolina

Police in Greenville, N.C., are searching for a man believed to be breaking into hotel vending machines. Police say several vending machines were broken into at the Hilton, Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn, all in Greenville. Surveillance video shows that the suspect used a prying tool to remove the dollar-bill insert from the front of the machine. The suspect is described as a clean shaven, bald, white male in his 30s or 40s, approximately 5’10” and 165 pounds. The car he was seen getting into is believed to be either a red or burgundy Chrysler PT Cruiser or a Chevrolet HHR. Anyone with information is asked to call the Greenville Police Department at (252) 329-4315 or Crime Stoppers at (252) 758-7777.
