Cleveland Minimum Wage Hike To Go Before Voters

The Cleveland City Council approved legislation that will let voters decide on a wage hike. The measure will appear on the May 2, 2017 ballot and if approved would raise the minimum wage the following January, according to WKYC.com.

The proposal was submitted by the Service Employees International Union and would raise Cleveland’s minimum wage to $12 per hour, followed by a $1 bump each year over three years to $15.
