New Jersey State Senate To Vote On Minimum Wage Bill

The New Jersey state Senate will vote on a bill that would raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour, reports NJ.com. The proposal would increase the minimum wage from $8.38 to $10.10 on Jan. 1, 2017, then by more than $1.25 per hour until 2021.

The Senate is likely to approve the measure; however, the governor has signaled he will veto the bill.
