West Fargo, ND Launches State's First Book Vending Machine

West Fargo, ND, is now home to the state’s first book vending machine, according to West Fargo Pioneer. The West Fargo Public Library unveiled the vending machine, called a Lending Library. The book vending machine, which holds around 250 books, works like a traditional snack machine and will also print out a receipt with a ‘due back date’ for the reader.

Users can return books to the machine or at the library.

The vending machine, located on the south side of the city, was installed for library customers’ convenience, as that area has seen the bulk of the city’s development, reports KVRR.
