The U.S. breakfast cereal market value declined in 2015, but some brands are seeing growth, according to BakeryandSnacks.com. Sales of Cinnamon Toast Crunch were up 7.9 percent, the source reported, and Raisin Bran grew 4.6 percent by value.

General Mills’ Honey Nut Cheerios came in as the top-selling cold cereal brand with $502.2 million in sales last year, followed by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, Post Holdings’ Honey Bunches Of Oats and General Mills’ Cinnamon Toast Crunch in second, third and fourth place, respectively. Cheerios, Frosted Mini Wheats, Froot Loops, Lucky Charms, Raisin Bran and Special K rounded out the top 10 U.S. cold cereal brands in 2015.

Manufacturers are reportedly trying to appeal to consumers by removing artificial colors and flavors as well as addressing demands for protein and convenience.
